Summary:

As a Programmatic Platform Manager, you’ll have a great opportunity to join a young company who is already establishing themselves as a leader in mobile advertising with our innovative approach and an easy-to-use product for our end consumers (brands). We give marketers the tools they need to effectively reach their audiences with best in class mobile creative, created by yours truly at Big Happy! The Programmatic Platform Manager will be responsible for supporting and delivering strategy and campaign management efforts across our programmatic campaigns. You’ll work with the larger Big Happy team to execute best in class mobile campaigns while being a huge part of our start-up team. You’ll have a great opportunity to be on the ground floor and help Big Happy scale even faster by keeping our campaigns running smoothly and most importantly, our clients happy. 


The most important qualities we’re looking for in a candidate is the ability to “run with it.” We need someone who knows the complexities of the ad tech ecosystem (especially as it relates to programmatic) and is eager to further their understanding and help clients navigate the programmatic waters. This candidate should be a strategic problem solver and out-of-the-box creative thinker who will ensure a campaign’s success by driving great performance and a fantastic client experience. This is someone who, above all else, loves a challenge and gets things done. This person enjoys the start up life and the ability to make their mark on a team. Candidates should possess exceptional analytical, writing, and verbal skills. We’re looking for someone who loves solving problems and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves– challenging the data, asking the hard questions, and weighing information under uncertainty.  Intellectual curiosity and deep attention to detail are musts. Candidates must be excited to learn the ins and outs of Programmatic Advertising.


This is a full-time role with a competitively paid salary and benefits, as well as the opportunity to earn quarterly bonus payouts based on company success.

We’re looking for a candidate who is:

  • Very knowledgeable and has hands-on-keyboard experience with Demand Side Platforms to assist clients in activating campaigns, as well as a very strong understanding of Supply Side Platforms and the programmatic market.

  • Desire to grow their understanding of the advertising technology ecosystems and platform and be a leader in the space

  • Strategic and out-of-the-box thinkers who are creative and will help deliver results for their clients
    Going to trust their gut and feel free to speak up consistently to drive results and ideas

Position:

  • Develop deep understanding of programmatic advertising including best practices, capabilities, and products

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams internally and externally to drive programmatic revenue growth

  • Assist with managing the post-sale process of Big Happy creative mobile programmatic campaigns

  • Assist with setup for new PMP Deal IDs, optimizations, reporting and daily management in our SSPs

  • Prepare campaign reporting and wrap-up presentations for Big Happy’s programmatic clients

  • Help strategize and troubleshoot client programmatic deal requests and general capability inquiries

  • Help manage and closely monitor PMP deal health to ensure optimal delivery for our campaigns

  • Provide a high level of customer service to clients with effective communication, timely responses to requests and proactive resolutions to potential issues

Requirements:

  • 2-3+ years of experience

  • Strong knowledge of DSP’s, SSP’s and the digital ecosystem

  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint

  • Willingness to learn media planning tactics and programmatic/ad tech landscape

  • Ability to work out of NYC office 3+ days a week

  • BA/BS required

Location:

  • Midtown NYC + hybrid WFH (3 days per week in office)

Salary:

  • Total Compensation starting at $65,000
