Job Description

Big Happy is looking for a high energy Sales Planning Manager to help drive usage of our proprietary ad platform to the world’s most cutting-edge brands and media agencies based out of New York City. Reporting directly to the Head of Revenue, this role is responsible for managing all aspects of the pre-sales campaign process to drive strategy and revenue

 

●      Serve as the main point of contact for sales and planning team across all pre-sale activities including, but not limited to:

○      Working with the Head of Revenue to prioritize go to market sales planning strategy for the sales team

○      Helping the planning team put together the most tactical and creative proposals for our clients and partners

○      Be the go-to person for best practices across strategies and verticals

○      Work closely with the Creative and Client Services teams to create processes and ensure seamless execution of sold campaigns

○      Strategize for ways for Big Happy to drive new revenue with new products/partnerships

○      Create processes and provide input on rates/partnerships that can drive Big Happy’s business forward

○      Building and presenting end of campaign reporting with a focus on actionable learnings and recommendations that drive client renewals

○      Maintain ownership of Big Happy RFP Materials, Rate Cards and Partnership Management

○      Seek new partners/technologies to enable incremental revenue

●      Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Planning, Creative, Tech, and Ops to accomplish client deliverables and ensure smooth campaign launch, execution, and completion

 

 

Job Requirements

To perform this job successfully, the individual must possess the following:


•       2+ years of experience in digital advertising, ideally on the ad tech/publisher side

●      Strong comprehension of the digital media landscape and agency/brand client/publisher relationships

●      Strong experience with strategy across various verticals with ability to understand brand and consumer needs across different verticals

●      Excellent design skills in Powerpoint and Excel and ability to tell stories through data and visuals

●      Excellent attention to detail with a high standard for organization and communication

●      Experience and comfort working with ad tech data and measurement partners

●      General understanding of the Programmatic/Publisher landscape

●      Desire to grow, establish, and refine process to drive efficiency across the organization

●      Desire to help young talent learn and grow in their roles

●      Ability to work in a friendly and respectful manner at all times, to all Big Happy employees, partners, and clients

  • Three days per week in the office hybrid (Midtown Manhattan)
