To amp up their holiday sales, Academy Sports joined forces with Big Happy, building on insights from their successful Back to School campaign. With only a brand style guide to go on, Big Happy created five Animated Sunrise units - including a Dynamic Countdown to Holiday Sale and a Multitouch Sunrise - tailored to Academy's holiday initiatives. The result? Fresh and relevant mobile web creative that stood out in the crowded holiday market.
Academy Sports and Big Happy delivered a wildly successful campaign that exceeded expectations. Big Happy's creative and targeting tactics drove consumers to Academy Sports locations at a lower cost per store visit than other sporting good stores. The collection of Sunrise units, showcasing unique and eye-catching creative, delivered an overall lift of 5.7% in brand consideration. The Black Friday Sunrise Unit was the top performer, beating all Big Happy benchmarks in CTR, brand consideration, and brand recommendation.
