Job Description:
We’re looking for a motivated and curious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing Sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who’s eager to learn the ropes of digital advertising, connect with top-tier brands, and build a successful career in media sales. You’ll be the first point of contact with potential clients, playing a key role in generating new business opportunities for Big Happy.
This role is hybrid, based out of NYC or Chicago.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential clients across brand, agency, and media buyer verticals
- Reach out to prospects via email, LinkedIn, and cold outreach to introduce Big Happy’s creative ad solutions
- Set qualified meetings and demos for the Sales team with key decision-makers
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and activity in our CRM
- Assist in the development of outbound campaigns and messaging strategies
- Learn to articulate Big Happy’s value proposition and product offerings in a clear, engaging way
- Support the broader sales team with administrative tasks, research, and sales enablement materials
Minimum Entrance Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (0-2 years’ experience)
- Passion for advertising, marketing, media, or technology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow
- Self-starter mindset with attention to detail and organization
- Comfort with outreach and proactive communication
Bonus Points For:
- Internship or project experience in media, marketing, sales, or customer service
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, CRMs (like HubSpot or Salesforce), or G Suite
